Lovely patio, good food and friendly service. Always a treat to have a cocktail outside and people watch, or eat their lamb shank on a rainy day. I love going to Pomegranate because it’s one of the older restaurants in Greenville. A staple in downtown that newer places can’t beat!!

Great spot to gather with friends! Conveniently located in the middle of downtown Greenville close to a paid parking lot and the Reedy River. The food is delicious (and I’m not even a fan of Persian/Greek/Mediterranean menus). The staff is friendly. The drinks are great. The atmosphere is casual yet classy. Pomegranate on Main should be on everyone’s list of restaurants in downtown Greenville to try.

Delicious! The flavors are authentic and ingredients so fresh. The grilled chicken, marinated in saffron and onion, was so flavorful, tender and juicy. My server, Kayla, gave me tips on how to combine ingredients on the plate for best bite- and it was great. Also, the complimentary Persian breakfast was so fresh! Get the Persian tea and add mint. You won’t be disappointed.

The waiters were friendly and the entire place smelt so delicious as we walked in. We were trying this place for the first time. The starter was very refreshing. We had the Lamb Kebab and the Chicken Kebab marinated in lemon saffron. I felt the spices could have been better for the lamb, I love Persian cuisine and felt this was nice to eat but it wasn't amazing. The yellow basmati rice with cranberries was cooked to perfection and was a lot tastier for the chicken Kebab meal; the rice that came with the lamb was underwhelming.
