Campground was quiet, bathroom was very clean. We only had time for one day there, but wished we had more.

I'd rate this higher but until the water levels are back to normal, due to work being done to Center Hill Dam or a pool is built, there is little to do here for small children. It's gorgeous but too dangerous for the young ones. Try Fall Creek Falls or Cedars of Lebanon instead if you have children.

Camping, hiking, swimming, zip line, tons of stuff to do. It's beautiful there.
Wouldnt want to camp near falls as that area can be flooded irregularly by TVA and would be illegal. Also swimming and even wading would also be dangerous and illegal any closer to the falls than the beach! State park has great camping we enjoyed our stay and the ranger that assisted us was super helpful with trail information!
Yes. I didn't kayak but saw several who were.. There was one guy that carried his kayak up the stairs by the dam. The falls at that point are beautiful but down river from the falls are where most activity is located.
At least 3 more smaller ones throughout the park. The best 1 you hike down a trail that is right next to the waterfall. You get to touch the water. Take knee pads for the lower section but upper section is easy. Look for blue hole. Very nice park. Electric camping available. Need a reservation possible. Well worth it. Lots of mushrooms as well. And flowers.
