My one year old Shepsky gave us a serious scare when he started crying and we found he was bleeding from his boy parts. It was 1:30AM and we frantically tried to find an emergency vet that would see him, but we kept getting sent to other places because they were “at capacity.” Around 3:30AM after doing some research online and observing he seemed stable and okay, we decided to try to get him into a vet first thing in the morning during normal hours. We were recommended to Lake Elsinore Animal Hospital by one by one of the Emergency vet workers so we took him there first. The girls in the front there were nice, but the vet tech there WAS NOT a friendly person. She showed no compassion to our dog who clearly was having a rough time, and was not interested in helping us or putting our minds at ease. I honestly found that vet tech to be quite rude and disinterested in helping our sick puppy :( The next place we visited was Murrieta Family Pet Hospital. What a difference! Right away the vet tech came out and got in the floor with our dog and was friendly and engaged with us and started helping. All of the vets in the area are busy, but Murrieta Family Pet Hospital took our concern seriously and cared about our dog’s well-being and got us squeezed in. She immediately took us back and got him an ultrasound to make sure it wasn’t bladder stones and then they took their time with us to determine the problem, which was a UTI. The vet got us the medicine we need for him and answered all of our questions and did not make us feel rushed to leave. I am so happy that we went to Murrieta Family Pet Hospital. They are Toby‘s new vet! We scheduled him to get neutered too after he’s back in good health. It is refreshing to deal with people who care and are not rude to you or short with you. If you are looking for a new vet in the area, Murrieta Family Pet Hospital is excellent!

The prices are insanely expensive. Pro heart for a husky shouldn't cost nearly $100. Our original vet was only $60. Also, they were a part of my insurance/discount network at sign up and now aren't. Now I need to do an entire new exam with a new vet.

This has been my best experience with a vet, I have gone through at least 10 vets trying to get the best care for my Sphynx kitten and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Murrieta Family Pet Hospital listening and caring in such a fantastic way. I will never take my baby anywhere else, so thankful I was referred here and will also be referring as much as possible. Murrieta Family Pet Hospital ACTUALLY CARES about animals! They are not pushy, they are kind, they LOVE animals! I am so happy to have found such a wonderful facility!

I would give them 10 stars if I could! My dog needed emergency surgery for a life-threatening condition and I could hardly find anyone to treat her in time, and anyone who could was prohibitively expensive. Dr. Telles and her technician went WAY out of their way to see my dog the same day, and the price was even much lower than any of the other quotes I had received! The level of care we received was ABOVE AND BEYOND what can be expected, and I am EXTREMELY grateful to the team for everything they did for my dog. It is refreshing to see that there are still businesses that will bend over backward to help their clients, and that is exactly what happened in my experience. Thank you all!!!
