Pretty disappointed in the $23(before tax and tip) grouper flake sandwich. No lie, the tomato slice was thicker then the grouper. I used to bring every visitor of mine here and raved upon this sandwich for years. Don't believe I'll be back....after 13 years of enjoyment. Not to mention the weird, thick and pasty slaw or the all cream tartar sauce. Then my poor mothers BLT....more like LT. How sad.....super sad. Can't say it enough. Maybe too many northerners or maybe they're getting money hungry...sad!

Unexpected kind of place. Bait and tackle and delicious food all in one place. It's not for the faint of heart but work the visit. Smoking is allowed inside so we stay outside. It's considered a convenience store, therefore you can't put tips on your credit card. But the food is good. Worth the experience.

I am. No correct that. I WAS a regular customer. I typically buy all of my bait here. Recently they switched to bagging their own sardines. When I brought (4) bags to the counter I asked to confirm the weight. The lady at the counter said 5 lbs and also confirmed with the manager/owner(?) who also said 5 lbs. Even though I was very skeptical as I have bought plenty of them in the past, I bought them anyway. I went home and had my wife weigh them on her food scale and NOT 1 OF THEM WAS OVER 4 LBS!!!!! Paid for 20 lbs and got 15.1 lbs. Absolute scam. Last time I will ever go in there. I can go across to AP Bell and get the same stuff for half price but tried to support the locals. Nothing worse than people who try to take advantage of others.
