Second visit to the restaurant. Not much went right: It took 15 minutes until wait staff approached us. We ordered a Caesar Salad, garlic knots and a large pizza. We were handed warm plates for the salad…hard to believe. Waitress did ask if we wanted the garlic knots with the salad, which would have been preferable. When they came, they were barely warm, hard and with little garlic. Then the waitress told us that the kitchen accidentally made a personal sized pie instead. She offered a choice of either that pie or wait for a large. We opted for the smaller pie. As for the pizza, the crust was acceptable, but the sauce was tasteless. Needless to say, Asaro’s is off of our list.

On a recommendation from Nancy and Rick I found Asaro's. Sat at the bar after a bit of time waiting service improved and was superb. I could order by slice before 4 p.m. How cool is that!! I ordered a Bacardi and diet along with the Meat Lovers Pizza. Pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon and meatballs. Delicious. High-quality. I will be back to sample other dishes. Love this place for quick incredible slices or full sit down meals. A beautiful family owned business with Sicilian and Northeast attitude, authenticity and awareness that should not be missed.

Calamari was the best we've ever had in all our travels. No sauce needed, although they provide a great marinara if you want.....it's great on the garlic knots. We ordered veal Marcella and veal Francesco. Portions were generous and you have the option of various pasta types with your choice and a small lite salad and bread are included with your meal. The best way to have your pasta served is with your selected dish sauce versus traditional red sauce. They have numerous daily chef specialities, an extensive wine list and liquor availability. Dessert menu sounded great, but we were too full to order any.
