Nokomis Beach North Jetty is my favorite beach by far! It's clean, the have a lifeguard stand, they have concession stands and it's easy to get in and out of the water.

One of my favorite places on this earth! The sunsets are amazing!

Whenever I come to visit my mom in Florida, I always come to this place at least once. I don't fish, I just love to hang out all the way at the end of the pier, watching birds, feeling the breeze, listening to the sea far below. A few times I've seen some really cool fishing action happen here too - like someone pulling out an ENORMOUS grouper the size of a grown man.

A great beach and fishing spot. Also a great place to see a sunset.

I dont, but there is a bait shop before the bridge they might have
No but Oscar Scherer State Park is like 5 miles away they have all the hookups and all the amenities that you like to find the campground
Are you from out of state? Because in Florida all you have to do is put a shrimp on a hook to catch something. You don't get skunked here like you do fishing up north. I can't say what you catch will always be legal or very edible, like a ladyfish, but you will almost always catch something. Good luck! 🍀
Sorry, probably an IRMA casualty!
