My beautiful wife and I decided to visit one of our go to restaurants. Salem's in Bradenton. We usually split the fish and shrimp dinner with an extra order of onion rings. We've eaten here so many times that the owners know us well. We sat outside in the beautiful evening air and sunset and enjoyed our meal. Good food, fair prices, cooked to order. We love it.

Absolutely love their fried fish, with beans and rice. Most everything I've tried here is good. Prepare for a bit of a wait, even in the drive through, but this means they are cooking your meal fresh to order. Hard to beat these guys for 'fast' food.

Having never been there; we wasn't sure what to expect. It is fast food, so not 5 star, but as far as it goes the food & service was great! I had the philly cheese steak on pita....very good! My wife had an order of fried oysters & an order of calamari . The oysters were surprisingly good ,( like I said "fast good", so low expectations). The calamari was the worst thing...but even ot was ok. The fries, I got with my sandwich were VERY good! Overall, if your looking for a fast, reasonable priced meal that is actually good, for lunch - go here!
