I flew in with my bike for a week of riding in the LA area, and my bike's Di2 shifting wasn't working when I reassembled the bike. I called around to several bike shops, and none of them had the knowledge or parts on hand to troubleshoot and fix the issue. I brought my bike into Newbury Park Bike Shop at 9:00 on Monday, explained the situation, and their mechanics took the time to troubleshoot and fix my bike right away. By 1:00, I had my bike back and my trip was saved. Many thanks to these guys for having the knowledge and inventory to work on higher end bikes.

Great post purchase support. Will not buy anywhere else because even after the formal warranty period had expired, yes for a part that should never fail, Dave the service mgr went to the extra effort to try and get classified as a warranty replacement. I’m sure specific details may vary and not saying they would do this all the time, just that this is indicative of the support for customers (and not just defending their suppliers). NP has a loyal customer base for good reason. Scott

I love NP Bike shop. I've purchased my last two bikes from here and just upgraded to a new road bike yesterday! They still have a good selection of bikes in stock despite other places being low on inventory or out completely. The purchasing experience was excellent: they helped me pick a size, test it out on the road (I looped around Ventu, to Lynn, and down E Kelly so I got a good feel for climbing and downhill) and they even threw in some pedals for my old bike that I'm giving away to a friend. I live in Simi but grew up in NP and I'll always make the drive/ride back for my cycling needs! Edit: I do want to point out to reviewers who are upset with pricing: they sell the bikes at the MSRP but due to Covid-19 many entry level or sub $1,000 bikes are on backorder. You'll see that at most bike shops and online right now. Give them a chance, keep calling, and when they get more stock I'm sure you'll get what you need.

I was ready to say goodbye to my 20-year-old high-end mountain bike for a new comfort urban cruiser to ride with our family. Luckily, I was referred to Newbury Park Bicycles and was fortunate to be greeted by Warren, a wonderful and extremely knowledgeable salesperson. I brought my daughter with me since I had a feeling she would be getting a new bike too. We both got Giant brand bikes and very excited to ride them. After seeing how great my daughter's bike was and how reasonable the price was, I urged my wife to get the same bike 2 days later...and she did. There are 4 other bike shops closer to my home but none of them are competitive with selection, staff and customer service. I can’t imagine anyone not wanting to travel an extra 15 min to get to your location from the valley. A big shout out to the three individuals that helped us out over the three times we came by for bikes and a bike rack...Warren, Goldy and Shane. We have already referred some friends and they are excited about their bikes too. THANK YOU!!
