It's alright staff is not friendly I was there yesterday they had my area closed cause they decided to paint no heads up I was upset drove from el cajon city wasted gas clean restroom though

Been there almost a year or so. Place is always clean, staff is awesome, very willing to work with you. Lifts are a bonus, carts are always available.

They were awful. I was their customer for 34 months. The day I signed up they told me they didn't have the size unit I was requesting but they would give me the larger size for the same price to accommodate me. The first bill they charged me full price of the larger unit. I told them what their employer quoted me and they wouldn't honor it saying he gave me incorrect information. Also the day I signed up I requested not to have auto pay and the same employee said it wouldn't be a problem. The first payment was taken via auto pay. Again they wouldn't honor what I was told. Most recently I had a financial hardship so I called to make payment arrangements. Normally rent is $220 per month for the unit I rented. I was willing to pay $350 and the balance in 2 weeks. I had never been late the whole time I was their customer. They refused and said if they didn't receive payment in full by the 10th day, with an additional fee of $111 for late charge it my belongings would be going to auction. I felt that was harsh and felt they could have worked with me because they are not part of a franchise and there is no corporate office. I paid my $551 and pulled my belongings out of their storage. I would never do business with National City Self Storage again.
