This is a great park with everything. Dog park in the back, playgrounds, baseball fields, walking paths and tennis courts.

Having a blast in the cold with my son. A long long walk. Even taking us into adventurous and mysterious corners of the earth... Saw a bunch of Monarch butterflies and lots of fun

The entrance to the dog park does have two gates......I find it to be very secure as far as keeping the dogs in the park.

Yes, it is in the portion of the park that is nearest the mall or what would be the corner of the 126 and main street. It feels to me like it is in the back corner. I have not been in there but here's what I've been told: it is dusty as the grass is not able to grow with all the dogs running around. Therefore it is a fenced in dirt area. Dogs like it.
