I wish I could rate them ZERO. Thirty years with a few professional/distance moves went well until this WORST MOVE EVER. Steve inspected ours and mother’s homes underestimating our quote and wouldn’t return calls after contracting. Movers shared this was typical, frustrating to many. We paid $9200 initially, advised this was policy. A call on day two was for another $2400 for packing performed (not reflected in the contract). General manager Julian later promised to refund the $2400, still pending. He waived our balance for extensive damage documented at delivery. They sent inadequate truck and mover resources, inexperienced requiring constant oversight. Debris was left all over our old house and driveway. They bounced among rooms packing randomly versus finishing one space then moving to another. Delivery movers were different than packing/loading. Truck space was misused with several large items instructed not to take, to be donated. Neither house is empty. Full cabinets remain, items in the floor everywhere in shameful disarray (photos taken). We’ll spend more time/money finishing the move. I called the corporate office upon learning movers weren’t done or returning, stating trucks were full and leaving for the destination. We moved several quoted items ourselves so they had less to move! Julian stated you have too much stuff and need to decide what to throw away. My husband quoted the contract based on their estimate, requested another truck (refused). The corporate office person politely listened, stating they are franchised but would contact local management to see what they could do, to expect follow-up in 2-5 business days. I explained issues required immediate escalation, including local management interaction. I said local franchises represent the national brand. My husband spoke with Julian several times…arrogant, dismissive, argumentative, sarcastic, deflecting ownership and incorrectly quoted our contract. On speakerphone to movers, ‘I don’t care if you break it all, just get it on the truck’ once realizing the job would take longer. We witnessed the crew lead’s speakerphone argument with him on our behalf. Arrival dates changed twice, once for 1 of 2 26ft trucks reportedly broke down and contents transferred to another, heartbreakingly crammed into a 20ft Penske truck, broken unwrapped furniture, open/torn boxes, etc. I’m terrified some got left behind or discarded! So stressful to rearrange work commitments more than once. We were told noon delivery. It was 6:30pm, calling periodically and each time promised arrival in a couple of hours. Damaged furniture included an antique family heirloom piano. Most dishware is shattered, despite bubble wrap and white paper and boxes labeled glass and fragile yet careless mishandling! Boxes of loose items were dumped from bathroom drawers/cabinets (glass, plastics, liquids, etc.). Contents of one box destroyed by blue toilet cleaner. Boxes loosely taped, half open, unlabeled, falling apart. A large open tv box had unwrapped lamps, mirrors, glass misc. Most furniture was wrapped only in clear cellophane and no moving blanket protection, or not wrapped at all. Quality wood pieces scuffed, scratched, dented. One mover was teary noting damages in unloading. We expect more discoveries. Delivery took two days for two trucks. Movers called 1:30am Saturday after driving around looking for hotels. Julian told them to finish in one day and wouldn’t reserve a hotel despite late start time. Exhausted and desperate, they were about to return out of state with the rest of our stuff?! Several phone calls and a 20 min drive at 3am (none accepted payment by phone) later, we paid $400 to check them in a hotel. Julian’s boss (Perez) in Utah was useless. Things can be replaced but this isn’t the experience we paid for with a “professional moving company”. Sad, two past experiences (mom’s 2018 with a different branch and my 2019 with this Villages/Leesburg branch) were positive. Not now! DO NOT USE!!

They tried to change cost the of moving. Then they lost my per cord to an expensive leather recliner. They hold me they would replace cord. THEY NEVER DID. Lousy company. I would never use them again

This past move was the fifth time I have used Two Men and A Truck and I have always been very happy with them. Michael, my coordinator was very helpful and provided clear description of the process, pricing, and what I should expect. The day of moving Michael and Tim showed up on time and were so efficient and hustled. They were relaxed and fun which went a long way in removing so much of the stress that comes along with "moving day". In past moves with Two Men and a Truck the two men who have arrived have always been professional, neat in their appearance an, extremely polite, and they hustle. I have never felt like any of the fellas were lazy or waiting around for instruction. They just seem to know what to do to keep things organized. I have never heard any grumbling or huffing and puffing when taking furniture apart or setting it back up and in its new location. I have come to trust this company to provide excellent service at a price I find to be a bargain. I have only used them for moves which are somewhat local but I don't even shop prices anymore. That is a wonderful thing in a world were customer service and services offered seem to disappoint far more often than impress. I can recommend them without hesitation. Happy Trails
