The guy that I just talk to at this shelter was so rude I literally just moved here from Kentucky living in an RV I have nothing, and they won’t even help me with dog food or cat food unless I can provide income. I have no way to provide that considering everything I own is packed up, and because I can’t provide proof because I don’t have my W-2s because why would I move them with me Instead of packing them up in a safe place I can’t get help. And then did just hang up on me instead of helping me find another resource that could help me.

This place is great. They are helpful when you are in need for your pets. People that work here are great

I adopted my sweet boy Roscoe a little over 6 months ago. The staff were very friendly and the volunteer I met was very nice. They were able to answer all of my questions and they provided me with food, a harness, collar, leash, treats, a blanket and a large crate; they went out of their way to get me the crate. Also, they followed up with a phone call to see how things were going with Roscoe. I would definitely recommend adopting from this humane society. Thank you for a great dog! 🤗

Very nice place. Clean, no foul odors. The grounds are very nice. A place to run and play. A place for some training. And kiddie pools full of clear clean water to cool off or play in. We adopted a bonded pair of AKC Rottweilers and the 4 of us could not be happier. Thank you for our Luv bugs 💖

I'm keeping her. I can't do it.
Yes, I would bring proof of disability and a Sumter county address just in case. They will set you up with vouchers to get them spayed and neutered for free :)
I'd say maybe but yiu should call for more information.
Yes you can. Call in and ask for Jane and you can come in and pick them up at the office.
YOUR Humane Society SPCA isn't the one who conducts the surgeries. They give out low cost or free spay/neuter vouchers to qualifying residents in Sumter County. They use Planned Pethood Cares in Sumterville.
I'm not sure. I don't work there but... I know if u call they will tell u what u need to know. I got my dog from there and so did my mom. Great place to get a pet.
I'm not sure. I know if u get them and take it over they will take it
Sorry for the loss of your pet. YOUR Humane Society SPCA can take adoption applications with the mention of a type of pet requested and if pre-approved you could be notified should/when one similar becomes available. It can save time as you can move up the list as available animals become ready for adoption. The pre-approved application is good for one year from the time of submission to them. The do not adopt 1st come/1st served. It is always the best match made for the animals.
