UPDATE (07/28/22): Still amazing! Wow! Bravo, Clermont Fish House! We've been here before (before you expanded) and we loved it. Dining in and enjoying a Guinness along with the best Cod & Chips in town was a huge plus. Warning: The portion is gigantic! 😁 LOL A good problem to have. 🤣 We'll absolutely be back - sooner this time - and we'll absolutely recommend you to all of our friends. Cheers!

Finally got to check out this local place. The portions were great and the fish was delicious. Only downside were the chips. They were a little soggy and didn’t taste fresh.

Maybe we picked the wrong night (Friday during Lent) or the non-fried dinners are less popular but I was sadly underwhelmed. My grilled mahi and mushy peas were definitely not as photogenic as the cod and chips. Sadly our food was cool too but we're willing to go back. Hopefully on a less busy day.

We were on our way home from touring Winter Garden and in need of food. We spotted the Clermont Fish House and decided to stop in. We were also attracted to the little free library housed in an old telephone booth just outside. The first thing I noticed was Miss Kylie sanitizing pens at the counter with ‘clean’ and ‘used’ containers. She greeted us warmly as we explained that it was our first visit to the restaurant. She recommended the Cod and Chips as a big seller. We ordered two. We were intrigued with all of the soccer/football memorabilia especially all of the scarves although we couldn’t locate Manchester United. We also noticed the directional signs guiding guests to “take out” and “dining in.” There were a few early diners eating inside in the fairly spacious dining room. Our order was ready in eight minutes. The portions were generous: two large pieces of tender, battered cod and thick cut chips. The cod was very good; I’m not a huge fan of thick cut fries and thought they were dry. Vinegar may have helped but we didn’t ask for any. We had enough for three dinners. I heated up the leftovers in the air fryer which helped crisp the chips on the second day. The restaurant is community-minded and supports and partners with several school band and sports teams. In and out and on our way! We will be back.

No...the menu is of an English Pub
No ma'am. They are closed Sunday and Monday
It's definitely worth the wait for it to be open. The fish and chips are brilliant!
Masks required upon entry and take out, but masks can be removed if you are seating. All staff remains masked. Very clean place as well.
They don't. Sometimes there's a wait, sometimes not. It's worth the wait.
Believe it must be wild? I know of no commercial Cod or Haddock operations/fish farms in North America. And cod/haddock are primarily cold water, northern fish
I do not think so, but the food and their great attitude and customer service is worth the trip.
