Nice hotel. Deluxe double was spacious, bathroom well appointed, very clean, 3 TVs and many other nice amenities. Wonderful location!!! A few areas that need upgrading … who doesn’t have Apple Pay in this day and age. Please consider upgrading your system to include this option. When we checked in I had to use a different card because they didn’t have Apple Pay. I went to the car to get another card and was told that person had to come in. I get it … However, when checking out today another customer had the same issue. She went outside just as I did to retrieve a card. Just like me the card she was using was from another person in the car. Here’s where the story differs … the clerk accepted the card … the other person was not required to come in. The difference our skin color … both on mother daughter trips … we are black and well they were white. I think I read another review about it being racist … I didn’t want to believe it but … perhaps! It’s nice but beware!!

Really enjoyed our time here. Check-in was quick and hassle free, and they even gave us a free room upgrade to a suite. They had a free wine hour between 5-6 in the lobby which I thought was a nice touch. Location is good. Breakfast in the morning was above average for a continental breakfast. Excellent experience overall.

The staff have all been so nice and accommodating. We got a Queen deluxe room for the extra space that made a big difference and was a lot of help when needing to spread out more. We have stayed in Times Sq and that was fun but hotel rooms are pretty small. This room for the extra space and wonderful staff made it a great trip. Will stay here again.

The absolute best thing about this property is, hands down, its location. It’s less than a five minute walk from Time’s Square, Broadway Theatres (literally across the street from the Gershwin), and restaurants. However. When I first arrived, the concierge stayed inside the property and didn’t offer to help me at all. I had two roller bags and he didn’t offer to help me or even to use the cart. It was like he wasn’t there. I would say this about my entire stay. He didn’t even greet me ever. Half of the time, the front desk was friendly, but other times it was if the lobby was empty. At check in, be prepared to spend $31/ day for a resort fee, and a $200 refundable deposit if you pay with debit card. The housekeeping staff was great. I came back to a clean and freshened up room. The water pressure in the shower left something to be desired. Even though there is a wand, which I really, really like, the pressure is medium to low. There is also, curiously, a television set in the restroom. Personally, I’d prefer to have a bigger set in the room than one in the restroom. There is also, strangely, only one vending and ice machine on the lower level for the entire hotel. Perhaps I caught the staff during a bad week. If I needed to stay in this part of New York again, I would definitely consider this property and I recommend you do, too.

There is a parking garage nextdoor to the hotel but it's not part of the hotel itself.
