Joel was exactly the kind of professional, fun, knowledgeable captain we needed. We brought our 2 young sons, the 7-year-old is really into fishing and learning about fish. We caught all sorts of fish including an absolute ton of grunts and the kids had a blast reeling em in one after the other. Joel took the time to teach us little tidbits about the fish we were catching, you can tell he has a lot of respect for the ocean and it’s inhabitants. This was exactly the pace we needed with 2 young ones, and this was the most fun we’ve had on all the charters we’ve been on.

Capt Joel was great. Got on the fish early and we had to move because I was getting tired of too many bluefish (25 + first hour). Top poppers worked like a charm. Went out to get a bunch of other fish gag grouper, trout, Spanish, nurse shark! A non stop day of great fun. We moved frequently when the bite was slow and the capt knew just where to go. Learned a lot. I’m bringing my fly rod next time for an extra challenge. Thanks Capt Joel

My brother and I have been on other fishing charters in Florida. Captain Joel is a great guide. He worked hard to put us on fish. We had action from the second we anchored, Grunts, Grouper, Spanish and King Mackerel. I had one of the most exciting fishing experiences in a long time. His boats and gear are in great shape.
