Staffs are really nice and really helpful, the price is for all day, there are no limit time as long as you come back to return the kayak by 5pm. I really recommend this place 👍

Great day and the people are awesome 😎 at this business. It was busy on the river with lots of fun stopping spots. Water was Crystal Clear!

Had an absolutely lovely time with my family kayaking. The water was sooo beautiful and the Kayak Shack made it super easy to paddle around. It was a little bit of a workout (which we loved!) but that’s not always the experience people are looking for. Went during the week and it was not that busy, got to see two manatees from afar

Seriously could not have asked for a better place! Everyone here was so friendly & helpful from my first phone call to reserve a time to our check out at the end of day. The staff were all full of great information & genuinely seemed happy to help! They offer such an incredible deal. I was told by the wonderful staff they also have cabins they rent ON THE RIVER too! That’ll be our next adventure I’m sure!! We will absolutely be back! Thank you KAYAK SHACK!!!

Took about 7 houts to go all the way up and back with snorkel spots along thevway. Very easy paddle and worth it.!!!
I think that was the other company at the top of the river. I definitely recommend using the Kayak Shack ... Paddle up as far as you can and have the river take you back.
Always best to call and reserve, and dont pay till you get there!
No, over priced and too many ppl. The flip side is, going up river depending on time of day, can be a tough-ish paddle. Strong current!
Yes, they allow you to bring your dog on the kayak. They just ask they you leave it in the car with someone while you are signing up so their dog doesn’t get excited. My dog actually loves going.
Probably... power and water outages were the main issue... much less devastation than expected...
I think you can launch at the park across from it, but I'm not sure.
You will need to paddle upstream (against current) as far as you choose and float back downstream. The current isn't very strong. We were novices and did fine although you definitely felt it the next day. On the way back you just steer occasionally and go with the flow. Get the double kayaks and pair kids with an adult
They rent them there...dont believe they sell them?
