Tides "most excellent" Flowers

Wanted a floral birthday cake for a 90 th birthday celebration. Had never ordered online floral arrangements. Called Tides directly. Spoke with a lovely British gent that supposedly understood what I wanted: large cake in pastel flower colors. The price was double of the online prices but figured the cake would arrive o time as Tides is 5 minutes, at the most, to the residence of delivery. The $16.99 delivery charge was ridiculous for such a short period of time. The arrangement cost $102.00 total in lieu of online $69. I was not present but the floral birthday cake was photographed & a pic sent to me. I cannot say enough about how disappointing the cake was. It was downright ugly. Pastels? White was used a light lavender around the bottom but a reddish fuschia and dark blue flowers hardly went with the other two colors. The candles were greenish gold & pink. The cake was a menagerie of bizarre colors, not the least bit pastel nor gently celebratory for a person turning 90. The cake was put together with whatever flowers were available disregarding the sentiment. Never will I order again from Tides! I rated the arrangement on its existence not its character & arriving at 9:10 am on the day of the birthday. Tides was given two days notice to create the mess! 😢

I recently purchased a sympathy basket for a family friend who's fiance passed away. We are in MA. I had already been turned away by another florist local to Hudson Tides went above and beyond my expectations, providing what has been called "the most beautiful arrangement she's received so far". While I don't know that I'll be flower shopping in Hudson again, I am so thankful that I found this shop, and would recommend to anyone who needs flowers in the area.

I have ordered from Tides Florist on 4 occasions and they are the best in Hudson / New Port Richey. The flowers are always full, healthy, and they last a long time 1-2 weeks longer then any other flower arrangements I have ordered. I have them delivered to my wife’s work and they are always a hit! I have never been in the store or met the people but they are always pleasant and easy to deal with on the phone. As a final note my worst experience was dealing with two different 1-800 type florists so stick with local shops like Tides.

On Mother’s Day weekend, my family was burying my father. I ordered flowers early in the week to be sure they were done on time and delivered properly without confusion. Well, the flowers I ordered were delivered - but were dried out and dropping within 12 hrs of delivery. Not to mention the arrangements I ordered were not what I ordered. The owner ARGUED with me on the phone for 20 minutes while I was on my way to the funeral home!! Poor poor customer service and product!! You would think on a busy weekend the florist would have fresh flowers - however I ordered from out of state and they didn’t plan on my actually SEEING them!!!
