Only been to El Pavo twice and it's been a nice experience. The food is good, the prices are fair, and the service is friendly. The pan dulce is delicious but you have to eat it soon

The conchas tasted like egg yolk. Not a fan of that flavor for my conchas. Also got a veggie empanada, flavorless. The bolillo was also flavorless, it was like soft but had no flavor-bizarre.

I ordered a 200 dollar cake with delivery included weeks ahead of my event. When the day came and we didn't get the cake at the hall at the time we had said( we had a schedule to follow). I called the bakery and the lady put me on hold for ever(she couldn't find my order). Then told me she would call back. She called back like 10 minutes later and asked me details about my order. She put me on hold again for ever told me the delivery guy is on his way(which was a lie). They took a very along time just to find out the guy was not on his way they told him to take it to my event until i called which was more than 1 1/2 late. They charged me 75 dollars for delivery and to be late.

Have come here many years for Chile Verde pork, this time was good/ok, $11.50 combo plate has gotten pricey but I guess everywhere has... Regular concha was really well made and delicious tho! Outside crunchy, lightly sweet, and inside soft, not dry
