Definitely a fun trail to go with friends, I do however recommend bring comfortable hiking shoes and water if your going there in the summer it does get really hot.

Quite, clean, and just so relaxing. I really felt like this place is a little piece of utopia. The trails were well marked for a nature preserve. Usually these places are geared for for the wildlife, and make no mistake it was but it seemed the park Rangers balanced preserving the natural environment and making it people friendly. I was glad to see the picnic area was also clean. My dog loved it too!!!

Love this place!! Gorgeous! Two trails essentially, the main "red" trail is about 3 miles. A good mixture of open spaces with cascading branches and flowing branches. Symmetric rows of trees. Wooded area have a few muddy spots and a few puddles. Luckily there are ways around these (logs, man made paths). Definitely recommend. Check out my photos. There are some more difficult areas toward the end of the red trail but nothing major. 5 stars
