Positive: We had moved to town as a family and needed a place to settle in as the move progressed. We loved being in downtown Newark and exploring the places. We are now living up in North Newark, but we always will have the awesome memories of being downtown. Negative: It was one day that they missed our house keeping, The front desk could¿ve offered some kind of gratuity as we did pay for full service it was an expected them.

Poor management. Rude staff.No room service. They don't provide water. And the ice machines are broken. The staff is very rude and after checkout I waited in lobby for about 1.5 hrs till my flight and all the staff members where staring at me and made me feel super uncomfortable and unwelcome to wait in the lobby. The location is convenient but the surrounding are below average. Lots of people doing weed outside. Trust me you are better off booking a hotel else where

Definitely a good idea putting such a high quality hotel in the heart of Newark. Pretty pricey but worth it. Super clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, views are amazing, and many surrounding stores for just about anything you might find that you need. And right next to the Prudential Center which is awesome if you plan on making your stay that much more memorable. Anything that helps highlight the great city of Newark I'm all for and this place does just that.

Exceeded my expectations with some of the mixed reviews here. Excellent cleanliness, good maintenance, felt welcome & safe. Requests over the app were promptly acknowledged and handled, service professional. Quiet room. Didn't try in-house dining but I'm not crazy about "The Bistro" in general - not their fault. Look forward to staying again ASAP! Thanks, Brick City Courtyard!!! ❤
