This church is horrible, I don’t recommend having a funeral to honor your loved ones here. The staff was very rude to me and my family and friends we got there and paid $700 for this funeral when family walked in we were giving out prayer cards to remember the other who passed away, We were told we couldn’t have them and to put them away. one lady that was a part of the staff was really rude to my mother to the point she was crying. she said “ this is not a reunion everyone has to sit down” in a rude manor this Is a horrible place to have a funeral when you are going through tuff times it was really hard cooperating with st Ambrose church.

We chose St. Ambrose for Sunday Mass because it was closest to Deerfield Beach, but in retrospect we would have preferred making the trip back up to Lantana for Holy Spirit Catholic Church for Sunday Mass instead. We were caught off guard at multiple points of the Mass. When the priest finished his homily with "Amen", the congregation applauded. The Our Father was set to a piano ballad, with an interlude before the Doxology. Were we at a concert? These are unusual ways to celebrate the Mass and they make the interior acts of worship very difficult. Instead of being led to meditate on the Word of God to the heights of heaven, we felt we were transported to the 70's. On a positive note, the sanctuary and stained glass were nicely designed and the parishioners were friendly!
