Oregon books typically has a worse reading selection than other book stores in the area, they charge slightly more, and they give the worst value for sale or trade by far. I feel like each time I have brought books in for them, I get the same experience as visiting a pawn shop.

Small space, big choices. Bookworms rejoice, every bookstore is valuable in today's times. Digital media is convenient but nothing beats the smell of a brand new book. I love the smell of a bookstore, especially on a cold day. Stop by, pick up a new read and cozy up with a hot drink!

Usually they will unless it's a large amount of books or during the holidays.
Customers are screened as they enter and logged in for potential Covid Tracing. Customers and staff are required to wear masks, social distancing is monitored and required, limited number of people in the entire store and sections. We have an excellent sink for washing hands before browsing the store (required).
We try to keep a broad variety of subjects including things like politics and social ideologies. If you are looking for something specific you can always check on our website our inventory is live, and if we don't have a book most items have a 24 hour turnaround.
Yes, We are open at 9:30
Our web site www.oregonbooks.com shows what we have in the store and the availability of about 1,500,000 additional titles. We do not allow payment on-line, you just pick-up the book and pay when you have it in your hand. I know, it is old school but very comfortable for us and thousands of our customers in the Rogue Valley. Yes we several copies for immediate pick-up.
Books must be clean and good condition. We either buy all or none. The ones we can't use we try and find homes, first will be placed with non-profits for their sales, and the balance will be disposed hopefully soon with return of recycling. Certain books are not going to have any value. Common sense will usually dictate that older books dealing with topics that have passed their time need to go to book heaven. There are some guidelines on our web site oregonbooks.com that might be helpful.
