Positive: Proximity to major roadways through the city made navigating to and from the hotel easy. Negative: Pool is listed as being both indoor and outdoor, indicating two pools. There is one unheated pool outside, and you need to get a key and towels from the front desk. Don't ask just for towels, you'll end up going back for the key.

Little out of the way but the overall a very fine place to crash for the night. The night manager was really great and surprisingly energetic for us dropping in at 2am. The room was super basic and I missed my first thing coffee. I'd stay here again no problem.

Hands down the seediest hotel I've ever stayed at. Barely slept. Smells terrible, like cheap apartments, chemicals, paint and dirty carpet. It's really dirty, with stains on the blackened carpet. They don't have fitted sheets, just a tucked in sheet. When we arrived at 5:30 the front desk had to call all the maids to see if anyone had a clean room finished. It's really loud, being next to the road, and you can hear your neighbors. Your neighbors are potentially dealing drugs or soliciting. We're grateful our windows weren't smashed out. Hidden $100 deposit.

A terrible place. This place is over priced, for what they do and do not provide. I only chose this place because I had to have an emergency surgery and this place was the lowest priced inn in the area. I will never stay hear again. They charged me twice for my room once over the phone and then again in person when I got to the inn. They don't clean the rooms unless you call and ask for them to be cleaned. But you have to call by 10:45 otherwise there is no guarantee that your room will be cleaned. You also need to leave a room service magnet on the door and leave your room from 11 to 3 otherwise they won't clean your room. When they did clean my room they never took the trash or clean the bathroom apparently there are 3 people to clean one room. One for the trash one for the bathroom and one to vacuum and change bed sheets. And if one of the cleaners are gone well you just don't get that service. They also say that they have a complimentary breakfast but when I went out in the morning to acquire about it they said that they could only give you coffee and they wouldn't let me grab any of the other stuff that they had out even though they would put it all out in the morning and then put it away in the afternoon you still couldn't have any. They also blocked it off so you couldn't grab with out asking.

Mr. John, while the Apple Tree Inn is a good option for the price, you might want to check other options in the area. It's in a great location, most things are in walking distance, they have good rates and weekly options. However... There is a known issue with this establishment with law enforcement and some of the clientele. I was there in June of 21, had a decent stay, but Uber drivers don't like to pick up here and the week before it was raised by local law enforcement where they busted drugs, among other illegal activities. I had no incident myself other than the issue getting ride share. It is in need of a face lift and some cleaning. Just take that into consideration when you decide. There are other options a few blocks away for $10-$20 more a night that don't have any of those issues.
As Sinead said, the staff are great. But I Would imagine it would depend on how long that they would be responsible for it before you got there and size Etc. But as previously stated I would definitely just call and ask!😊
