I was gifted a mother's day spa package. Being on social security I am on a very tight budget and could never afford such a gift for myself. When I was done I sat in the women's restroom and balled. I was so grateful and overcome with emotion. I sent a picture and a text to my daughter thanking her for such a gift. There in my robe and glowing with appreciation I gathered myself together and went to the reception desk to check out. There were 2 women behind the desk and other then myself being there the room was empty. I told the ladies I had a wonderful experience and I said my massage was better than any foreplay I've ever had. I didn't think anything of it. I'm a senior citizen and didn't feel my comment was anymore than the lyrics in a lot of songs played on the radio. I definitely meant no harm to anyone. As I drove home I received a message from the manager of highland day spa, Margaret. Her message stated I would no longer be welcomed back to the spa due to my inappropriate comment I made to the reception desk. I cannot tell you how very shocked and hurt I was to read this. It absolutely ruined the entire gift! She ended he message telling me to have a great day. ??? I cannot tell my daughter what happened as I know it would hurt her as it did me. I had left a 20.$ to for each clinician that procedure me service which the front desk happily took. I think the manager statement was absolutely more inappropriate than the one I made. I will never recommend this place for anyone!

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever received. I bought The Stress Relief package and loved every minute of it. As this was my first time in, the staff did a great job explaining how things work and were to go. I received a reminder text a couple days before my appointment and my confirmation email reminded me that I needed to show up about 15-30minutes before my appointment in order for my massage not to be cut short. Leah did a fantastic job with the massage. She listened to my where my problem spots were and was very professional. I love that they don’t make you sit down with a clipboard and write down your requests on a figurine. Felt very pampered. Thank you so much!

So I missed a wax appointment. I’m a busy mom of 3 girls and already have a hard time treating myself as it is. As a mom of 3, all my mom friends know that it can be complete chaos at times and our days don’t always go how we’d like them to. Fast Forward 3 weeks: I called to make an appointment for my oldest daughter and I for a waxing service and was told I can’t schedule an appointment until I pay a $70 fee for missing my appointment!! What in the H… E… double hockey sticks!?!?! Are you kinding me!? I could understand if they made a point to tell me about this policy but I was never told!! Not to mention pushing away money to make a point? No thank you, I’ll pass! Like I said if I was ever made aware of this I wouldn’t be in complete shocked right now … but $70, really? $10, $20 maybe even $25! It’s really too bad because I enjoyed both times I was there and wanted to treat all 3 of my girls to a spa day… but refuse to be taken for a ride simply because I had to put my family first. I get making appointments and/or calling to cancel but life happens and it’s not always in our control. But taking advantage of people like that, especially Moms that rarely do anything for themselves is very disappointing to say the least. I’ll take my business elsewhere!
