My family stopped in Post Falls to get gas on our way from Washington to Montana. My truck (with my travel trailer attached) died at the intersection before Loves and would not start. Not a fun spot to be in with a family of 4 and a big dog. A flat bed tow truck happened by and hooked up my pickup. Then the Dodge dealership told me they would be 4 weeks out to get my vehicle in the shop. Then this guy pulls up in a pickup and offers to pull our trailer for us. 5 minutes later the trailer is hooked up, my family in the cab and dog in the bed. The man said his name was Pat. I asked him if he could pull us to a nearby parking lot where we could wait for my brother in law to come pick us up. He said he could take us to his shop. He proceeded to take us to Post Falls Auto Auction which he co-owns. He made sure that the trailer was parked in the shade and hooked up to power so we could run the AC and my family was comfortable. He proceeded to call one of the mobile mechanics who he works with and, long story short, we were back on the road in a few hours. We are truly thankful for Pat's generousity & graciousness. He could have easily driven by like many trucks did before him. He was busy and had problems of his own, he'd actually dropped his phone in the lake earlier that day and was without one. I have not yet done business with Post Falls Auto Auction but I can tell you that based on this man's actions they are the type of people who go above and beyond to make sure that people are taken care of. We are very grateful.

So I bought a car, didn't even have indoor handles to get out and the alternator was shot before I even left the lot. I get it, it's an auction vehicle but who sleeps well at night knowing people fork out $3000 for a car that doesn't start and you can even get out of it to pop the hood!!!

The only thing they don't let you test drive . to me all auctions your taking a chance. I have bought cars there and they were good some need little work . That's why you take a chance . It's an auction
Yes you may. Preview time on auction day is from 8am - 930am
Yes we charge a buyer's fee, this is how we make money since all of our items are on consignment. The vehicles go faster than 45 that is just the max speed we reach on our test drive. Hope this helps if you have more questions please don't hesitate to call us anytime.
Give them a call, you will need to bring in a clear title. They charge a percentage of the sale. You can do reserve or no reserve.
Our Auction Catalog can be found in a couple different locations on our website, www.postfallsautoauction.com! On the homepage it is an orange tab in the upper righthand corner that says, "Auction Catalog". Also on the homepage there is a grey task bar near the top of the screen that has different options for pages on our website. The third option from the right is also the Auction Catalog. Hope this helps!
A full years calendar can be found on our website. The next auction is on March 19th! I hope this was helpful.
In order to consign a vehicle in our auction you will just need to bring it down, along with a title printed in your name for it. You'll complete a contract to sell it, which only takes a couple of minutes, and then remove your license plates from the vehicle. We take it from there. The vehicle does need to be able to go on a short test drive to be able to go through the auction and is required to be on site to sell. We accept vehicles Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, up until the Wednesday before the auction, though we cannot guarantee space by Wednesday as we do tend to fill up by then. Our final auction of 2021 is this Saturday December 11th, so if you wanted to bring those items down for it, I would recommend doing so today or tomorrow!
