I had the same bad experience continuously with seemingly the same girl as the below reviews. I think her name is Fatima, and she was a short, young hispanic woman, (same description as the others had left). When I first came in she said I couldn’t donate because of a medication, I understood the problem, so she told me to come back after it was out of my system. When I returned a week later, this same girl (assumingely didn’t recognize me) told me that in order to donate I would have to get a medication paper filled out by my physician to ensure that I was no longer on it. I told her that last time I was here I talked to her and she didn’t mention anything about a paper. She had no response for that. I asked her if I could see the list of medications, as the first time I had donated months ago I was given a list of medications that they didn’t allow. she said that list was confidential and that she couldn’t show me. So I asked her what kind of medication‘s we weren’t allowed to be on and she said “I don’t know, but I think it’s only SSRI.” so I travel to a different county to get my physician form that she handed me filled out. I had forgotten that it needed to be faxed, so I called this number again and the same girl I’ve been having problems with also answered the phone. I told her that she had told me I needed to fax it, but I asked if I would be able to bring in the paper as it was the original copy and completely filled out. She said that they would accept it and it would be fine so I scheduled an appointment. When I came in the next day one of the managers inform me that she was wrong and that I had to go all the way back to my physician to get the papers faxed. Never in my life have I seen such an unorganized and un-informed company. The girl that I was working with seemed to have no clue what she was doing, and told me different information every time I came in, as well she didn’t even know of half the medications I was taking! This company really needs to fix the kinks in their system, i’m not sure how anybody can even donate at this rate.

I had the same exact horrible experience as Victoria below with the intaker “Fatima/fayoma” She treated me like I was the dumbest box of rocks because I didn’t understand the “high school level quiz” that she NEVER explained! “I don’t think you comprehended the test” (Her words) What a rude rude rude person! I’m happy to see that I am not the only person who had an unpleasant experience with this person. Goes to show she is definitely at fault. Went home feeling discouraged because of YOUR employee. Instead of being grateful for donations you all obviously don’t need them. Your company would be 1,000 times better off without this individual working for you.

They get one star for the staff on the floor who do put forth an effort and try to make it a positive experience. They have a few really good people. Management would score a zero if that option existed. I have donated on and off for several years, not out of necessity but because I recognize the need plasma serves to both research and direct medical treatment. However, today I finally had enough of this facility. There have been countless times I have had to wait an hour, sometimes two to be called even with an appointment. I’ve accepted the apologies for being short staffed or other excuses. Today due to a traffic accident delay I arrived a minute and a half late for my appointment and was turned away. I was told this is there policy. I spoke to the manager in charge. The message was your time and contribution isn’t valued. In essence, they didn’t need my donation. They invest a lot to attract new donors, but care very little about retaining donors. They expect understanding and patience when it benefits them but demonstrate none when it benefits their loyal donors. The way they treat donors has declined significantly over the past year. They can’t retain employees so they are frequently short staffed or running behind due to training new people. Leadership is lacking. Business practices are unprofessional. Endless excuses, never know what to expect when you arrive for an appointment. Equipment often doesn’t work effectively or efficiently. I don’t need the money so I can choose to not return. The ones who lose are those who do rely on the compensation and those who rely on the plasma. Going forward I’ll just donate blood to the American Red Cross for free.

I have been coming to Grifols Biomat USA on 40 for 2+ years. In that time, I have regularly recommend donating plasma to anyone looking to help people out and make money for themselves and their families. The donation center is clean, competently staffed, and has excellent hours of operation. Do yourselves and your community a favor by signing up for donation today.
