It's a cute pool but depending on the lifeguards (who are all teens) they get VERY rude. My son went down the slides for three days in a row. All of the sudden they told him he's just under the 48 inch req. Then, he was swimming (hes 5) and doggy paddles and splashed someone barely and immediately they were on him. For kids learning to swim...in the kiddie area, that seems wrong to me. We respect others and we were not feeling welcomed there.

Edit: I swam here everyday for the month of august and had too many inappropriate encounters. The lap swim lanes have no etiquette rules posted so everyone thinks they are correct in how to share a lane. On one occasion I had someone swim into me and yell at me for circle swimming. This happened directly in front of the lifeguard who did nothing. I informed the front desk it would be nice to have some lap swim rules posted and enforced. I have emailed the city about this poor lap swim culture but I have not heard back. Worlds slowest pool as a competitive swimmer, but it’s better than nothing! The locker rooms are adequate for the size of the area.

I probably shouldn't share this but Witter Pool is one of our favorite "secret" places to go swimming. Staff is friendly, the place is clean, rarely over crowded. I have teens and they hate everything -- but they like this pool.

The pool is deep. I am thankful for the splash pass they provided this summer. I only wished they'd keep the pools open longer. Esp with the weather still being warm. I'd like to see they at least opened earlier in the season and at least see it thru labor day rather than close b4 laborday weekend. Well maybe next year. The staff of young adults they hired were exceptional! Good job Spokane!

All days this summer are free.
Its free this summer! You can get in without a swimpass or sign up at the pool or call 311. The Parks and Recreation Department use the swimpass to find out how many, what times and how often they swim etc..
I bring snacks and eat them and nobody had said anything to me.. I didn't know you couldn't have snacks
I am sorry, I don't know about the cost. We were at a swim meet.
Not at this time
