Steer clear from this place, the support staff is awful and they treat their prospective patients like commodities. I haven't left a negative review of a business in years, but I felt like this experience warranted one. I went there and met with a therapist over a month ago for shoulder pain. They said after checking my insurance that I qualified for up to ten sessions without a referral but that there was a month worth of wait. Not ideal since I'm in pain, but worth the wait I thought. The check out process was painfully slow and the receptionist borderline rude, as if I'm bothering her to do her job, but they took all my insurance information. Fast forward one month and less than a week before my first appointment: I receive a call while on vacation telling me that they checked my insurance again and that I do not qualify for therapy without a referral so I need to get a referral before my first session. When I politely express my surprise and simply states that it may be tricky since I'm on vacation until the day before the session, the receptionist doubles down with a super harsh tone: "well, if you can't get a referral by Tuesday, we'll have to cancel this session as well as ALL your other sessions." Holy moly, I felt like she almost wanted had "how dare you wasting our time, peasant?" at the end of her sentence. No apology, no "I'm sorry for our mistake, let's maybe skip the first session to give you time to go to your doctor to get that referral." By the way, if you are thinking "this guy must have a weird insurance or something." I have blue shield Platinum through my employer, it's the an excellent policy, one of the best on the market. I didn't mind getting a referral, I just needed to know more then 5 days before.... The place also looks small and crowded, not Covid safe at all.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a lively, upbeat atmosphere. Jessica, the hand specialist who treats me, listens, is very resourceful and knows her stuff. She has really helped me in the short time I've been seeing her.

Amazing place with the best physical therapists you will find anywhere. I had an incredible experience and feel so grateful for all of it. Kristina was a Godsend.

Maureen was great! She really listened to what was going on and chose a treatment that really catered to my chronic pain! I've been to many therapists and she has been the only one to think outside of the box and it really helped!

Do you do ART active release therapy?

Hi Carol, Our PT's are not certified under ART but the technique is a very straightforward one. If you are looking for an ART provider, we can certainly help with that. ART is a very helpful technique in recovery but in my years of experience, it is a part of the treatment and not the only solution. Let us know how we can help. Steve Thompson, Owner
