My first visit to the "Den" in 10yrs or so. Always enjoyed the Hamburger Steak Plate, looks like I still do. Same good Cole slaw also. wasn't there for breakfast but if it's the same as it has been that would be an excellent rating in my little critics book.

Burger Den has, simply put, the best breakfast in Dalton. On par with Waffle House, in fact. And their biscuits are even better than Waffle House's. And they don't skimp on ingredients, either. They use quality bacon and sausage. If you ask for extra bacon, it's not one or two more slices so thin you can read through it, they give you EXTRA bacon. The good and thick stuff. Furthermore, at the time of writing, they are drastically understaffed. I counted 4 people working there when I went in this morning. This is during breakfast rush where the drive thru line is almost off of the property and into the road, with several people also ordering inside. Despite all this, they churn out orders at a remarkable pace, and the cashier is always kind, courteous, and professional, even though she has got to be under incredible stress. If you are in need of a breakfast that tastes great and is very kind to your wallet, Burger Den is a must. I rarely eat there outside of breakfast, mainly because I'm a 3rd shift person, But their onion rings, burgers, and tater tots are also good. But I can vouch mostly for the breakfast, as that is what I am most familiar with. And boy do I vouch for it.

Absolutely amazing food! We arrived during a baseball tournament with about 15 people. Despite being short staffed this place got our entire order correct, stayed polite even though we bombarded them and again the food was amazing! It reminded me of a ma and pa place we use to have here in Rome! Do yourself a favor and go eat at the burger den!
