Cooper, the new store manager, is an extremely knowledgable bike whisperer who was able to assess and solve a number of subtle mechanical issues on my Trek Emonda that many bike "experts" had perviously missed. Watching him pick up on these issues so efficiently within a two-minute assessment was especially impressive. Now my beautiful bike is riding like brand new again. Having had several interactions with Cooper I think he's a genuine good human who really cares and he loves his job. His customer service and communication skills are on point and first class. I had a great experience this weekend. I went in to get new spd clips on my indoor cycling shoes. Jason was super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will definitely go back in to get my e-bike outfitted with a cargo rack as well as any future bike needs I may have.

Buying my Bike from Trek in San Rafael was such a good experience! The day I went there to shop I knew nothing about Treks. The sales person, Adrian, listened to what I was looking for and made a range of recommendations and explained the differences in price point, features, uses and pros/cons. I got to ride the bikes around the street and felt 0 pressure to make any decisions BUT he made it so easy understand things that I picked a bike that day. When it came to check out, the bike I originally wanted (color combo) was going to be a year wait so he helped me find something I liked with an earlier delivery date. And while waiting for the bike to arrive he helped me bike accessories (providing options and recommendations for each item) and kept me posted on arrival times. When I picked up my bike last weekend the staff on site in both service and sales were SO VERY helpful and kind. In order to drive my bike home, the front wheel had to come off so the sales person not only helped me find an entry level all purpose bike tool, he showed me how to take off the wheel AND put it back on before putting the wheel and frame in my car. My boyfriend was so impressed with the service we received at the shop and the quality of the bike he now wants a new Trek bike too!

My entire experience at the Trek San Rafael store was fantastic! Literally the entire team was helping me, one person working on my tires, another helping me with a kid bicycle trade in and new purchase (along with installing training wheels), while I was able to order a new eMTB. The staff answered all my questions, very patiently and offered me with great options for all my requests. I really felt treated with respect and professionalism. I will definitely go back there to purchase future bikes and related equipment.
