Well I agree that the facilities could be a bit cleaner, it’s very understandable due to the remote location of this campground. The views and the environment were outstanding!

Lovely views of the lake and the valley. Just electric at sites, need to fill water at dunp station. Back in and pull through paved sites. There is barely any cell reception, got several tv channels. Closes gas station is the town of Linton which is 16 miles away. Nice COE with clean showers and toilet vaults, playground for the kiddos.

We tent camped here one night. The location is unique against the huge Missouri River at this location; but we had a lot of issues with the campground. We showed up later in the evening and had to attempt to pay for the site through a telephone number that kept us on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up after that. We tried three times to pay, but to no avail. Very little cell reception here and the campground is really catering to RV camping mostly. The two areas for typical tent sites were completely closed off by the park administration so we had to choose an RV site instead. Price would have been a little expensive if we could have paid also.....The toilets were ok, but non-flushing. There was only one place for running water that we found also. We wouldn't stay here again if we had any choice.

Was a decent place to camp. It was more fitted for people with RV's. The facilities need some updating and water should be in more than one location. They don't have firewood in bundles to buy so bring your own. It says on the website there is swimming but I didn't see anything. You would need a boat to go swimming on the lake. Arrived to find someone in my spot after I have reserved it online so I don't think they follow the website.
