Buc-ee's

As is typical with Buc-ees, it's huge. This particular store has almost 100 gas pumps. But it is extremely busy and even with that many pumps, it can be a challenge to find one. There is lots of parking but they need to add some truck and trailer/RV parking. Lots of touristy stuff inside at moderate to high prices. BBQ is ok but not great and over priced. Candy/fudge is also ok but not great and over priced. 4 out of 5 Icee machines were out of order. Gas prices are on par with local stations. I'll bypass this Buc-ees on my next trip through the area.

I was driving through this store and decided to stop and grab a bite to eat along with everyone else driving through it seems. It was packed! Some wearing masks and some not but again it is Texas. This store is so freakin huge and offers just about anything. Gas pumps galore, fudge, brisket barbecue sandwiches, beef jerky, warm cinnamon grazed pecans and more is what I walked out with. Ran me about $60 total but I bought a lot and didn’t regret getting any of it. The barbecue was probably the best I have ever eaten in Texas! I ate the first one outside and ended up walking back in and bought three more. They were that good. Customer service was great as well as the prices. Store is very clean and the restrooms were in immaculate shape with an employee in there cleaning and doing a wonderful job. I will stop here every time I drive through from now on. You can’t go wrong with Bucees!

I love this place!!!! If you pass one of these turn around and come back cause you will be impressed for sure. Once you pull in you will be in awe of the shear size of this place. Hundreds of gas pumps to fuel up, then walk inside and fuel yourself up on anything you can imagine to eat! They have lots of cool clothes and household items. You have to get a beaver shirt or beaver nuggets! Do not pass this place you will be happy when you stop!!
