My wife and I have adopted several animals from humane societies and kill shelters over the years with good experiences. They were all looking out for the best interest of the pet and finding it a good home. Not Florence Humane society. There only looking out for there agenda. Would not let us adopt a cat because we have a dog at home that is at the end of his life but is not fixed,( and I wouldn’t fix him). That being said I will probably only buy from breeders in the future . Pretty sure they could care less about the animals well being. Thanks James

Pam and Tyler are very professional and easy to work with. This shelter's staff truly cares about the animals. They are committed to vetting both potential adopters and the animals. They are very knowledgeable about animal behaviors.

The boulder was donated by a man south of the bridge! What a wonderful donation!
I have a 3 year old female cat. No kittens
Do offer Rabies shot's? How much does it cost?
The Humane Society in Florence has a whole area for kittens.. go for a visit!
My vet did it for my dog for $18
That is good question. I hope he isn't still suffering. My best friend works at the Humane Society. I will ask her.
Dog beds need to be clean or new.
It will vary but i ended up paying i Be live a little cheaper You can always call and ask but around $100 would be good
I don't know, sorry! You can call and ask, they were really helpful when I was there.
The Humane Society doesnt euthanize. Doc Ms veterinary house calls will do it at home. Othwrwise Oceanside and Osburns are the only 2 vets in town. Hope this helps.
Call them right away to find out!
In Florence, it is the person who hits the animal. They need to either find/contact the owner ortake the animal in for care.
You need to call the police department or code enforcement to get a response. Humane society doesnt respond. Doesnt have the ability
Yes of you make an appointment with their vet.
Not positive but around $120
At times they have volunteers from the high school.
Yes, "snipp'd" is one option. There is a low cost clinic in Veneta as well. Just 40 miles east of Florence.
