This place is great! Staff is really caring, awesome and funny. Tammy did awesome! I have never had a bad staff member. I must say though I do feel bad due to the first time in 10 years of donating that I got dizzy and they had to cool me down. Sorry y’all. I promise I’ll eat more before my next donation!! Thank you again and thank you for all you do!!

The woman who greeted me, weighed me, and pricked my finger was so sweet and funny and really put me at ease, as I have pretty severe social anxiety. She was super helpful and friendly, something I appreciate a lot. I couldn't donate blood as I had low iron, so I cannot rate the experience, but I wanted her to be recognized. I wish I remembered her name.. :(

I'd give 0 stars if possible!!! Worst experience ever!! The phlebotomist was nice and helpful but she missed my vein, so she has one of the Superviosrs (Hispanic woman) come redirect the needle. The woman didn't communicate with me and tell me what to expect she poked my arm, it felt very uncomfortable so I jumped. The woman says "oops YOU pulled it out because you jumped". Yes I jumped because IT HURT and didn't know what to expect!! I asked if they could stick my other arm and she says very rude "no because your under weight". She made me feel awful because I jumped and I felt absolutely awful when I left there! I actually cried when I got to my car because I got all worked up and anxious to do this and left with nothing basically. You would think they would be more appreciative of some one coming in to donate blood for a great cause!? This woman made me reconsider even going back!! I hope that her supervisor sees this!!

We do not pay donors. Carter BloodCare is a community blood center that supports patients in North, Central, and East Texas. When you donate with us, you’re giving back to the community! We often give out promotional coupons as a “thank you” and as you donate, you can redeem points in our donor store.
Depends on what you donated... If it was whole blood donation then 56 days, double reds 112 days, platelets 7 days but cannot donate more that 24 times in a year, and plasma 28 days.
If you want them to be tested to see if they are a match, you need to go to a special donation center. You can call the corporate number and they will give you specific instructions.
12 months. But if you got it from a texas licensed facility, you can donate now.
