I did not have a good experience because I had a new student who is just learning how to wash hair and dry properly. I have had a good experience from advanced students in the past.

On Thursday 05/27 I had an appointment for 10:30am when I arrived I was told they were not ready for my appointment as they were in class. I waited 30 minutes and was then told they were ready for me. Cristal was the one helping me and she immediately asked me about my religion. I told her I was not really religious, in hopes that she would drop the subject due to people having different religious views. During four hours I was there she was being very homophobic and continued to force her religious views. She was stating that being a part of the LQBTQ+ community is a perversion and that to have children you need to be a straight woman. Myself being a part of the LGBTQ+ community, I was very offended. To top it off, I was there for four hours and left with a bowl cut. I showed I picture for reference and it looked nothing similar to it. After leaving I contacted the school and spoke to someone in charge. She basically said she was sorry but nothing she could do about it. She did offer for me to come and get my hair fixed but that was after I suggested it. After the experience I had I will not be going back to get my hair fixed. If you are a part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally I suggest not to go here. Clearly the students nor management care.

They did a GREAT job on my hair. I was really impressed with how attentive and helpful the instructors were when the students needed some advice. Also, the price ($8.50 for a wash, cut and blow dry) is pretty much impossible to beat. I'll definitely be back next time I need anything done to my hair.

First of all the scheduling process was very simple. The staff was congenial and there wasn't a pro long wait, like it sometimes can be at a at a salon school. My cosmetologist was exemplary. She would be an excellent spokesperson for this school. A professional in a previous trade who made a career switch because of her passion for this field made her a delight to work with. Not only did she give me this service that I wanted, the the Artistry of her hair styling was, as the kids [referencing ballet, I guess] say, on point[e]. All attempts of humor aside, LaDonna demonstrated professionalism in her Talent, demeanor and conversation.
