If you want no frills, no soaps, toiletries, etc, this is the place for you. However, there was a very strong septic smell on our floor. It seemed the breakfast was popular but I only had coffee. I travel alot and in my opinion, these rooms should be way less for what you get.

It was a really nice hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the gentleman that was working the breakfast greeted everyone with a big smile. I felt like I was invited into his house for a meal.

Lets just start out by saying “ewww”! After Covid you would think hotels would take extra caution and effort to ensure guest cleanliness is up to par! Not this Holiday inn. Just take a look at the photos that tells it all. They have signs hanging all over that says “if you want clean towels, bring down the dirty ones!” Little did we know I would have to take someone else’s used towel down from my “ready to check-in” room! I’ll say that again…I had a dirty wash cloth in my room that I had to go and exchange for clean ones in my room! Was my room even cleaned?? Also carpet and floors are sticky and dirty. Wore socks only to keep the bottom of my feet clean. This place is called express for a reason. They are doing nothing more than an express cleaning..

I planned a four night stay and checked out as soon as the sun broke the next day. There are bugs everywhere near the doors. They come inside, so hopefully you do not get a room on the first floor. I was given a room on the third floor but within hours the elevator stopped working. When I went to the room the towels were dirty and there was hair clogged in the shower. I called downstairs to ask for towels and for them to remove all the hair and it was a lot from the shower to be told I had to wait for the night manager to come in because there was only one person working. That was at 430 and he didn't come in to remove the hair until almost 8. I never got the clean towels. I was over the stay. If you are going to be short staffed. Have to deal with a semi clean room and not be able to shower because you never get the towels you request; your prices should reflect your shortcomings. I do appreciate the points given for the miserable night, but my trip was not enjoyable.
