I got the funding I needed in the end, but when I desperately needed to speak with someone about the 3 month delay that was going to void my funding, not a single person returned my phone call. I left 8 voice-mails in a 2 week period, emphasizing the importance of me speaking with someone, and they just didn't bother. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress for me when it would have taken 2 minutes to call me and give me an update.

People at Capeco are just wonderful they remember you they call you by your first name and if it wasn't for them I don't think I would have made it through this COVID-19. If you ever need anything this is the place to go they can help you out with many different things.

I've nerve personally had to use them but il they've helped a lot of people. I just wish when they put homeless people up for free they should have to submit a clean UA n if they can't than detox is warm n takes ohp or can charge u later.. Just my personal opinion

The front desk people pick up people quickly but when you want to be transferred they almost never pick up I've gotten nobody from money management the last 4 phone calls same person so they obviously dont have enough people on duty. So it must be tough sitting at a desk typing in a computer in a nice soft spinny chair every once in a while print something here and there and I would love to count money and I'm not saying it's not tricky sometimes but that's what keeps you going is the mysteries that have to be solved wheres this person's money going oh I almost forgot to print this oh I have to turn lights off lock the door. And at night before you would go to bed just think about what you got to do tomorrow make sure your alarms set and next morning you realize I have something to look forward to.

"Assisting people to become independent, healthy and safe." Rental Assistance: Beginning July 1, 2018 Households seeking assistance from the Moving Forward Rent Assistance Program will be asked to contact CAPECO by phone or in-person to complete an assessment for Coordinated Entry. CAPECO is the HUB for Coordinated Entry for Umatilla, Morrow, Gilliam and Wheeler Counties. Completing the assessment does not mean housing assistance is available right now, however; it provides a way to determine the right level of services to housing resources to those facing a housing crisis. Assessments will provided by CAPECO staff Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM daily. Staff will notify you when a housing program opportunity becomes available. If someone is: Living or sleeping outside Staying in a shelter Staying in a vehicle Fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence Sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation or Please call the Pendleton office at 541 276 1926 or Hermiston 5412897755

No. CAPECO is closed for the holiday.
You have to be homeless and have slept on the street or your car for one night before they can help you
