Ultimately an amazing fish store, employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside is the owner, I’ve tried twice to schedule them to come out to move and plumb my saltwater aquarium and he never calls me, went in today with questions as I’m new to saltwater and I don’t know if it was “just me”, but he was passive aggressive. I don’t want to be dramatic and make a deal out of it, it just hurt my feelings and was unprofessional of him as I always try to be very polite and kind to others. His employees, on the other hand, are very understanding and patient. The owner, I probably will be avoiding from now on with all due respect. But if you need healthy fish, this is the place to go. In my opinion, better than Dallas North Aquarium.

I’ve been coming here for the last 5 years for fish and supplies. Even though the employees seem to change every year, they are always helpful and kind every time I visit. The Albino Weather loach I purchased 5 years ago is now longer than my hand. I call him Mr. Noodle and he’s very social. I purchased Molly fish 3 years ago and they like to have babies and produce the cutest fry. Sometimes Mr. Noodle has the fry as a snack, but it’s ok because I don’t need overstock. Today I finished cycling a 5 gallon aquarium in my home office and was looking for the perfect buddy to go in, and here I found a lovely Red Dragon betta fish. He’s very sassy, but that is a good trait to have when you purchase a betta. He will be living alone anyway so he can be sassy all he wants. All of my beautiful fish come from this store, and even when I moved to Forney I still come back for fish here. Every time I visit Dallas, I cannot help but stop in and look around, and I always leave with something. It’s like a guilty pleasure for the aquarium hobbyist. Pro Tip: If you live far away and plan to buy fish, bring an empty cooler with you. You can store your beautiful bagged fish inside the closed cooler. The cooler will make it dark so your fish will relax and help prevent stress, and the cooler works as an insulator to keep the bag the same temperature all the way home, so they won’t have a temperature shock from being transported.

Awesome selection of fish that are hard to find, sadly quiet a few tanks had ich otherwise would have gotten a few more. The bags they use are rather weak and a couple of ours fell to the floor. They were really friendly and did warranty our fish if anything happens. Will go back.

This is quite the busy shop so you need a little patience if you need a tank setup. That being said, they have a fantastic selection of fish and accessories. I highly recommend having them setup your system for you. Brian came in and set this tank up beautifully. Love, love, love it!

I'm not sure if they carry those particular ciclids but I do know that they can special order anything for you and they'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have regarding fish/aquariums. It wouldn't hurt to give them a call!😊
