This company is not good for business. They delivered a sub standard cabinet instead of the high end one we ordered. Run don't walk from this company. They do not deal fairly with their customers. We ordered plywood but they delivered MDF. If we wanted MDF we won’t spend a fortune on the kitchen. We also wouldn’t have spent so much time waiting for it to be delivered. We contacted them asking them to take back the item which was substantially different from what we ordered, they ignored us. Instead of sorting things out by discussing and coming to an agreement by either taking it back or discounting it substantially, they are filing all sorts of charges in the courts. We told them we won’t be paying the balance but they kept trying to withdraw money from our bank. They filed theft charges claiming we wrote bad checks which we never did. All because we won’t pay the balance for their low quality cabinets. Needless to say, their criminal charges were dismissed by the court. We were ready to resolve the issue with them directly but now that we know they play dirty, we will be sure to get to the bottom of this by going the full extent of the law. We will be sure to do the right thing and not be bullied. Be warned!! This company is no good.

I want to share my message with you all. I’ve never been a big fan of National Lumber. Mainly because of employee customer service or lack there of. But when my favorite paint store, formerly called Bables was purchased by the above fore mentioned, I’d give them another shot. At first I wasn’t too impressed with the people or customer service from the front desk to the paint department. But as of late, people like Jason over at the Oakland street store have swung the “needle” to the more favorable side. I like when I call the store and someone answers, usually Jason not like the other store across town. If Bevin or Jason are at that store, You can bet the phone will be answered but if it’s the “other” guy there, no freakin way. EVER. But I have to props when I see them, working with Jason is one of the reasons I go to that particular store now. Friendly, fast, helpful and most importantly knows his paint and gets it right the 1st time…I apologize for the long review but wanted to get my point out. One more thing, who ever manages this particular store on Oakland street, keep Jason there, it’s good to see the same person over and over…you get a better feel when ur working with the same people over and over. Thank you

Moved into my house in 2015. Three years later, the kitchen sink was hanging by the plumbing, and I had to place a brace in to prevent it from falling through. The seal failed, the clamps were rusted and loose, and its a total fail. My neighbor also had the same issue after 2 years. Both house (new construction) had kitchen done by National lumber of Mansfield. When I called them (several times before I got a call back), they simply referred me to the sub they themselves hired for the granite and sink install, which was KB surface. I send an email to KB surface. No response. I send a message through their website. No response. I called, talked to a lady for 2 minutes and when she realized I was a customer issue, she placed me on hold for 10 minutes until I gave up. I called right back, and she decided to deal with me in a different way. She told me that she would get back to me to schedule a repair service, which I offered to pay for. I talked to plumbers who told me they would not touch that kind of jobs because of liabilities with granite breaking, so I'm just happy to have anyone come by. Its been weeks since that phone call, so I assume they will not bother. I really didn’t get the sense that National Lumber felt responsible in any ways for the failure in my kitchen, because they did not do the work themselves. So keep in mind that when you deal with National Lumber of Mansfield, if they happen to hire a mediocre sub-contractor that wont return your call, well, that’s just too bad. DL
