If you live in public housing don't bother to try to get any help here. They had me annoyingly go through the whole process of applying and interviewing for fuel assistance, just to tell me I didn't qualify because I live in subsidized housing. That was a fact they knew from the start and didn't apolagize for the inconvenience.

Southern NH Services has a number of programs for area families. Fuel and electric asstsitance for low income families. WIC is a program for Mothers and children to get nutrional food monthly. The Commodity Foods Program is government food for children and elderly. The Head Start Program is also here for early chilhood education. The people in the WIC office were very friendly and knowledgable about the programs they were offering.

They helped me so very much as im on Disability and have a very low income they have assisted me with paying for up to 750kw or 75% of my bill for heating there a God send !
