I honestly don't know how this hospital has such a poor rating. This hospital caught and saved me from a serious infection called cellulitis that was in my face. Around my eye was so swollen, I had no idea what it was! I came to the emergency room and was taken in almost right away! They gave me a CT scan and found out what it was. I was kept for two nights and everyone took such great care of me. It literally takes a team of people and every single one of them did a great job! From the EMT workers, the transporters, the Doctors, the nurses, the food runners, etc. Literally everyone was great! I would never want to go to any other hospital if I ever had to go back. Thank you Brockton Hospital for keeping me safe and catching what could have been deadly.

Went with a sibling who was having terrible ab pain for multiple days with constant vomiting at around 10am. Luckily we called into the emergency room ahead so we didn't wait long. But once we did get a room it took a total of 12 hours for them to get 1 ultra sound and IV bag with some pain and vomit meds and one room change for overnight stay. It took so long that we had 3 other roommates leave before we got moved to a different room, one of which was diagnosed with just needing an icy hot patch and painkillers which took an entire viewing of Spiderman 2 before they were left free. The fact that pain so intense that you are unable to sleep or move from certain positions was ignored by constant button presses to the desk to only be followed by constant chatter in the halls was quite annoying. The cherry on top was that I finished the stay there to have 2 doctors come to tell us the exact same thing to only get a room change in the end. I'd recommend going to prison first before here because in prison you are treated like nothing immediately and then let go compared to waiting hour after hour before you are treated like nothing followed by more waiting to only be told that there is nothing they can do but keep you there overnight. I can understand that covid had a toll on staff but after so long i would expect a nowhere near busy day to have there be more voices in the halls then pairs of feet. -1/10

If I could give 0 to brockton hospital emergency I would of.OMG worst ever place to go if you have a emergency I will say do not go there.it’s better to drive to BMC.My Mother have terrible chest pain in a rate of 9 out of 10.We been there since 8pm can’t believe 12:20 still not calling my mother to see someone smh.When I asked a Nurse when my mother will be see not even thinking say around 3am or 4am she will be see someone because there’s no bed ready.Like woww seriously at 12:30am that’s when I know my mom will be see around 3 or 4 am. We decided to leave nurse want to take vitals for mom.😭Staffing very careless they don’t even seem care about those people who are suffering.The Hospittal need to hire more people give them more money.because they just sitting be on phone then people suffering on the waiting area for nothing.If anything happen to my mom it’s will be on that place hands.BAD EXPERIENCE ZERO ZERO FOR THEM.Even their wheelchair are not working 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

0 Stars if I could give it. I don’t even know where to begin. My uncle was receiving care there, wait a minute, not receiving care there. The nurses were a disgrace!!! My mother was an RN. She was visiting him daily. Not only was the care very close to nonexistent, they were extremely rude and abusive to her. One incident my Uncle was having suicidal thoughts. My mother went to the nurses station. The head nurse barked at her to put on her mask. Then said they were busy doing reports!!! This is the quietist, nicest, 76 year old lady you could meet. To say I am upset, is an understatement. When she called the patient advocate office, they hung up on her!!! She was just explaining the situation. They are supposedly there for scenario's like this. It seems to me they are linked way too closely!!! If anyone is thinking of receiving care there, I would vehemently implore you to seek any other potential solution!!!
