Great beach. Pay to park. Safe and NH State Beach. Bathrooms open during season. Dogs allowed on beach with leash in off season only.

As far as I know there is no free parking for anyone. Yes they have showers. Bathhouse is very clean.
There is a parking lot for the main beach entrance, but there is a fee. I usually park on the side of the road and walk to the closest entrance, which is free.

Public parking has been severely limited. There is a pay lot that has been filling up quite early.

It is a dog paradise in the winter though... I don't believe leashes are required unless your dog needs one.
