Sparkling clean, well lighted and comfortable station.

Decent place to wait for a train. Not many amenities beyond 9pm but at that point they don't need people misusing the shelter.

Its 615 AM on 3/31/2022. This station is a joke enforcing Federal Covid Mask rules. Over 60 percent of the people not wearing masks and nothing being said to anyone by staff. I too would like to leave my mask at home but respect the laws and others to wear it.

A great place overall. I like this one because they dont have numbered parking so assuming the PayByPhone app actually works, you wont get a ticket for parking in the wrong spot. The bathrooms are clean and there's a dunkin donuts here for breakfast. HOWEVER the staff are absolutely helpless and love to shrug their shoulders. The station is also infested with mosquitoes during the summer months. They even get into the bathrooms and one morning I saw DOZENS of them clinged to the walls. Bring bug spray!

There is a parking garage. The MBTA website says it's $7 for the first 14 hours, and $14 each day thereafter.
There's a lot of parking space. It's not usually full to the point that no spot can be found.
Yes. The place has enough parking.
Usually yes
Get on any Amtrak train. I got there via the Acela.
There are no parking tickets at this facility. Payment is handled by pay by phone app or billed to you in the mail. Billed tickets will cost $1 extra.
It depends on the day.....weekends, ground level is easy, during the workweek, headboard a higher level.
At the Rte 128/University Ave Amtrak station, does the parking garage fill on week days?
Yes and I'm not sure the price, they use the paybyphone app so it might be on there. It's fairly close to the train but it's a short walk
If you check Amtrak 128 station website it should tell you if the dc train stops there. I am almost positive it does ive seen it stop there before
Yes
$7.00/day up to 14 hours; $15 each additional day
Amtrak, regional trains, Providence/Stoughton line inbound and outbound
No. Just to Boston, Providence, and Washington DC
There are taxis there mostly around rush hours, less of them on off hours when some of the Amtrak trains come in. Might be best to Google cab companies for Westwood or Norwood and contact the companies themselves to ask about getting to Abington. Not sure if they all would go that far or if it would be super expensive. You may want to look into taking the train all the way into Boston South Station and then take the Kingston/Plymouth MBTA train line to Abington. Will be much cheaper than a cab but won't work if you're coming in late at night.
You can park overnight and pay when you leave, cost is based on how many hours/days you parked. Not necessary to reserve a spot.
How full does the Rte 128/University Ave station parking lot get by late morning?
No
Back Bay and South Station. It is pretty often. At some times it is around every hour. The trip from South Station is between 30 and 50 minutes. There is Acela and regional trains. So cost varies. Lowest is around $15 i think for seniors.
To Penn Station, yes.
No. They don't even have an Amtrak station or an MBTA station.
