Eversource is the worst There’s a light pole across the street from my house that’s being red tag or unserviceable for many years when there is a little bit winds my service line keeps going down damaging my fascia boards plus my cedar’s siding, I put them on notice about safety hazards to the public ,when someone get electrocuted or cause bodily injuries them they will get it straight, today I am only one in my neighborhood without power because the same issues again now they telling me I need to put a new fascia board before the restore my power, over ands over again I hope nobody ever gets hurt

We called Eversource to set up an account to establish new service for a house we are building in Canton. It took them 6 weeks to finally review the file. The representative sent us an email letting us know that " you aren't going to be happy but the cost to bring the line down the driveway is $37,000." We requested back up information and detail on the scope of the project as we believe the pricing is not accurate. They did not provide any. They then told us we need to pay them to repave the driveway and also pay for $1500 for an easement onto the neighboring property. They also stated it would take them 4 days to trench the line.....None of it made any sense. We pushed back again and requested to speak to a manager. We were never placed in contact with a manager. Instead they sent out a young field person to the job who again had no idea what was going on and admitted he had not reviewed the file or the application. He then threw out an $18,000 price and told us it was high because Eversource needs to make a certain return on any new residential install since the monthly usage isn't high. We spoke to the builder and he is in complete shock over this and has never paid that much for a gas hook up. After their 6 week delay, the field engineer then stated that they couldn't install the new gas line for another 8 weeks. When pressed about paving and other aspects of the job, he would throw out random figures as to what the impact would be if we chose to do it ourselves. We are left with no alternative and are going to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General. Again, we have yet to receive a detailed quote breaking down this cost. This wreaks of price gouging. Had we not requested a meeting, I am concerned that they would have charged someone the $37,000 knowing it was wrong. Terrible customer service and unethical behavior.....

They made a mistake and shut our power off after someone didn’t switch our address in the system leaving me my 2 year old and my 9 month old with no power and telling us they would not turn it back on for a day. I am so beyond disgusted with how they treated us if I could give them a 0 rating I would.

Simply dangerous. I'm not even a customer. Nasty Eversource utility truck drivers. Four events in the past four months. Eversource has no control or interest in reigning in their utility workers. Today's example. I was in a car and almost hit as the Eversource driver became frustrated with a police action in front of us, drove on the wrong side of the road, cut off traffic, beeped furiously and flipped us off. The truck was not part of an emergency. It was a McDonald's run. Watch out for them. Just scary.

Eversource is a utility not a electrician or sign company
Going paperless means we will no longer send you a paper bill. You will (and may already) receive a bill via email and be able to pay your bill on our website.
