I went online to get car insurance for my new vehicle on 05/18 at 10am and was pre approved with a deposit amount and a monthly payment. Then received an email that they needed more info to approve my account. I submitted the info at 11:46am to them stating that please let me know if you'll need anything else. I had a vehicle on hold so needed the insurance to keep my delivery date thru Carvana. I emailed Progressive the same info again on 05/19 and again on 05/20 no answers. I called twice to the help line and they said I had to use the email that they couldn't get thru to the underwriters. I emailed again giving my phone number and asking someone to call me nothing. On Monday 05/23 at 2:36pm they emailed me saying they needed photos of the car again which I sent with no response. So on Tuesday I went to GEICO and within 5 minutes was approved and within 10 minutes had all of my registry and insurance verifications. Then I called Carvana and submitted the paperwork they needed to find that now because of the delay I would not receive my car on Friday 05/27 but will have to wait until 06/01 to get delivery. Horrible service from Progressive, no competent follow up only generic auto mailer. I emailed again explaining this and said to please give my message to management still no answer LOL(NO SURPRISE DON'T USE THEM BUYER BEWARE GO TO GEICO)...I don't know anyone at GEICO, I work for a construction company but I will tell everyone to use them and NEVER PROGRESSIVE!!!!!

Put in a claim for my flooded car and five weeks later I still do not have a resolution. My car is totaled and sitting at the body shop. My adjuster will not answer the phone and it will frequently go direct to voicemail. Unbelievably unprofessional and inconsiderate

I found the customer service quite lacking. I moved to another insurance provider and am happier now. It was such a simple request but they were completely uncooperative. It was definitely something any other insurance co. would have been able to do in a heartbeat. Flo and her commercials are cute tho.

My personal experience with them was excellent. I have been living in and out of Quincy since last few months. Unfortunately, I got all my tires and rims stolen in Quincy Commons parking lot (otherwise, generally a safe place). The Progressive guys acted reasonably quickly after the weekend, ordered factory tires, got to the spot where my car was lying on a a couple of milk crates, put on the tires, took to their shop and got it all fixed very well for me (with warranty). They even put on wheel locks to help with such incidences in future, without any additional charge (except the 500 deductible I had, of course). They were very good overall in handling the situation. I am planning to move back to Tennessee fairly soon, but they made this rather depressing situation much better for me and my family.
