Used to love coming to hand and stone, but now it is awful. They are booked out weeks and weeks and weeks, but refuse to pause my charge when I can't even get anyone on the phone to boom. I was charged a missed appointment fee even though i canceled days in advance. Please don't fall for the monthly draft, you will so regret it.

I was in desperate need of a therapeutic massage and tried Hand and Stone. In the last 30 years I've struggled with back issues and massage has helped tremendously. I've had many massages in this time, but truly nobody has ever compared to Jessica. She understands the body so well, that she finds issues I didn't know I had! I will tell her about an area that I'm having trouble with and she goes right to the insertion point - as well as the knot - and begins working her magic. She truly has been the most beneficial - not to mention kind, professional, and considerate therapist I've ever had. Thanks for all you do to keep my upright Jessica!!!

You can never get through to a person to schedule an appointment or ask questions about your membership even after you’ve left messages. They shouldn’t wonder why you want to cancel with poor customer service like this. This hasn’t been one occasion it’s every time you try to contact them. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I have chronic back pain. During my 90mins deep tissue massage, I made multiple requests for my masseuse Jessica to adjust level of force. She refuted first and ignored it the second time. When I asked her to repurpose the time left to go back to my lower back because it was still sore, she was audibly upset. On my way out, she said ”if you came more than once a year, you would feel better.” I called the shop to voice my negative experience and received a follow up call from a sales manager. I was told that when they spoke with Jessica, she complaint her hands hurt after my session. This was my birthday gift to myself - did not expect the complementary passive aggressiveness and terrible customer service.
