We often go to Torchy's for happy hour. I get stuck ordering the Trailer Park Taco. It is outstanding. The queso did is also very good. Just as important, the service is good. I don't know how they always manage to have friendly customers, but the other people at the bar are nice, too. Reasonable prices.

Really slow service, and they don’t seem to care. Every time I’ve visited this Torchy’s the front counter is empty and I wait some time just to be greeted. And every time I have visited this Torchy’s they have told me they would bring my order to me when it’s ready, but then do not. Each time they have forgotten me and left me to sit and wait while my order gets cold somewhere in the back. All while the only visible employees cleaning tables seem to care less about anyone waiting to place or pick up an order.

I don’t normally leave poor reviews, but since I couldn’t speak with anyone who cared to help me at the location, I have to do it this way. Torchy’s is usually good. Unfortunately, today, my order was very slow to come out with no one else waiting. I get it, things happen, no big deal. Then when I got it home, the eggs were over done and no flavor on one taco… ok, sometimes foods not at 100% or what you expected. Then the other one was a nasty, burnt chip, cheese all over the tinfoil, with ingredients just haphazardly clumped in there - a total hot mess that was absolutely inedible. I called, asked for the manager, let them know the food wasn’t right, then got told the manager wasn’t there but I could call back later- no “let me help you” no “I’ll take your number” no “sorry to hear that” So this food goes in the trash and there is no resolution. Ugh I hate posting this, but it’s what needs to be done.

Food was great. I ordered their taco of the month, "The Kingpin" and their "Democrat." Both were absolutely delicious. Never a miss with their tacos. I ordered their Top Shelf Patron Margarita as well but that was a miss. Location is quite large compared to other Torchy's seating areas. Unfortunately the staff is very unfriendly and not properly trained. The employee who brought the food down to my table simply dropped it off and took off without asking if I needed anything else.
