The chocolate is fine but the filling lacks flavor. The cholocates are a bit overpriced for the price per pound/quantity. The shop offers GREAT small town vibes and a cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for something to do to kill time,check it out. Otherwise, save $46 for the 3 packages you get.

Monica's is a priority stop whenever we're in Lubec. Her bonbons are our all time favorite, especially the nut flavors.

If you crave fresh chocolate and you are traveling to Lubec, you need to stop at Monica’s. She makes some of the best creations to satisfy your chocolate fix. There are other items that make decent gifts, though the chocolate works just fine for me. It tastes very fresh!
