The castle at Winnekenni park is awesome. I've never been to an event there, but it seems like a great setting, especially in the weather months. Two different trails to hike up there or just take the road.

Really cool location with history and a nice place to just hang out outside and there's all sorts of events. I went to watch Knights fight in armor and it was a lot of fun and I'll return to watch it again

I'm pretty sure that I've reviewed this park before as I'll go up here at least a few times a week. The trees are starting to bloom, once all the trees have their leaves it is gorgeous, in the fall the colors are beautiful.There are many trails, the view is awesome, there are 2 port-a-toilets (which is good). The last time I was there a man just kept riding his bike up & down the kind of steep hill/road to get up to the Castle: I was amazed: I probably would not even be able to do that once: he just kept doing it, my guess was about 10x's God love him. You can picnic here as there are tables. Enjoy!

The castle is closed due to covid, also trick or treating has been cancelled for the same reason.
I've seen people out by the old ruins down some of the trails metal detecting so I believe you can. The castle property itself could be a different story, I'm not sure though.

Yes the grounds keeper is the point of contact on site and there is a time frame it is open as long as it's not rented

Generally open flames aren't allowed in public parks, so no.
I'm not sure, but I'll be looking for those at this year's Pagan Pride day.
