The front desk is extremely rude. Our first day we went in to ask where to park and the gentleman there was so disrespectful. Then they said if they think their getting in their rooms at 4 they’re wrong. They never had ice on premises . They said to use the ice in the freezer in our room. That isn’t going to fill my cooler up for the beach. The key cards are a hit or miss . That’s fun with kids standing there for 20 minutes trying to get in your room. Check in . I went in at 4 pm and of course they stated not ready so I waited there well in come two customers to check in they took them right away and their rooms were ready . We waited 45 minutes for ours . This hotel is not cheap and to be treated so poorly and to not have working key cards at all times or ice on premises and horrible staff is totally unacceptable. The room itself was very nice. No complaints and our stay was good . The ac is set to 85 so I would suggest you set it to 72 and go out to the beach, when you get back a few hours later it’s about 75 much nicer !. Parking they say is for two vehicles but that’s only if there is a spot available. It’s not a private beach like the websites say. It allows public access hence why there’s no places to park if you have more than One vehicle. I hope that they train their staff to be more respectful to the people who pay to keep the hotels lights on and their paycheck . I wouldn’t give them a one star because like I said the room was nice. The property itself was ok . Nothing that qualifies for that cost per night.

First the "good"....we stayed in one of the penthouses which was as big as our home! Love the spacious master and the fabulous gulf front view. We appreciated having two parking spaces available for the penthouse stay. The guest parking available on property is very convenient and very hard to find ANYWHERE else along the beaches. The security on property were friendly and helpful. Now the "not so good"....cleanliness is clearly a problem in the unit we rented :( The air filters were filthy and the air handler unit was COATED in dirt. We called to have it attended to and it was taken care of the following day. Dishes were dirty (glad I always travel with my paper products)! Fridge exterior and stove were not clean, sliding door tracks were reallllllly dirty, and the hot tub did not have hot water! I sincerely hope the management team reads these reviews and follows up with the people responsible for maintaining this property. We live locally and most likely will be booking again but would sure love to not have to be our own cleaning crew upon check-in next time we visit.

Positive: Great location. Great Pool. I loved the laundry in the room. Beautiful decor inside and out. Great cafe on site with good food and reasonable prices. Overall it was what I expected for a 2 bedroom apartment 2 bath! Very nice. Negative: Pool bathroom was on the second floor. Had 2 broken chairs and a broken glass in my unit. Have to get to the pool when it opens to get a chair. It fills up fast.

The rooms were pretty spacious and well kept. Beachfront access was great and they have a bin of community beach toys that guests can use. It's within walking distance of a ton of restaurants and other attractions, too. Great for families!

Yes there is almost across from the hotel
They didnt have pool or beach towels while I was there. Only the small, Crappy bath towels they tried to say we could use. For the money, this place runs a Crappy venue. As many issues as we encountered, I suspect this is a GM issue.
No but there r shuttles there
Definitely will be open 12 to further notice
There was a coffee maker and hair dryer in my unit. No safe.
Sunset Vistas does not have a shuttle. Also would recommend St Pete/Clearwater airport instead of Tampa.
There are many options, johns pass has a few that you could Walk to or drive in a few short minutes. We like friendlys, walt's and a good breakfast spot is sweet sage cafe. Shrimpy's was a cool spot that had a live band on Saturday.
We brought towels from the room to the pool and beach. You can always ask for more towels at the front desk. We washed ours in the room most days as it was quite convenient.

If you rent through the building, yes. Some owners post directly on VRBO or Airbnb and each owner has different rules.
There is a place on the beach that rents chairs, kayaks, paddleboards, etc. That are well priced and convenient.
The grocery store is Publix. Maybe a couple of miles south. As for delivery, that is carried out via a 3rd party service called Instacart. They have an app which is much easier than the traditional web.
Yes to bathtubs. Yes to cabanas and umbrellas. Can do an airport shuttle for approximately $25 one way for a van
You can rent chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas on the beach, there is a rental station. I think 2 chairs and an umbrella were $30 for the day. I rented a penthouse suite during my stay through vrbo and the owner had beach supplies there, personally I think renting is easier than lugging it around.
There are several elevators and waiting time is insignificant. We were there with triplet 4 year old boys so we would have noticed long wait times!
